Air Cadet League PEI Effective Speaking Competition

 


The Effective Speaking Competition aims to: 

1. To provide an opportunity for Air Cadets to increase their self-confidence; and increase their ability to reason, organize and express ideas;
2. To promote the citizenship component of local squadron training;
3. To provide a focus at the Local, Regional/Wing, Provincial/Territorial, and National levels, to promote and encourage Air Cadets to participate in an optional activity that will provide them with
an opportunity to acquire effective speaking skills through instruction and practice in a structured and competitive environment;
4. To increase public awareness regarding the citizenship and leadership aspects of the Air Cadet program at the national, provincial and local levels

2024 Competition

PEI Effective Speaking Competition will be held on April 13, 2024. Face-to-face style to be held at Holland College in Charlottetown.

90 Confederation Air Cadet Squadron are the hosts. 

The ACC54 Cadet Application Form for the 2024 Effective Speaking Competition and the topics have been updated on on the National Website.  Every cadet must complete an ACC54 to enter the Squadron level competition.

The form is now completed directly on the website. Please make sure that cadets contact their CO and SSC Chair to confirm the reception of their request, once completed. (The automatic pdf file that will be generated could be sitting in the CO and SSC Chair’ spam emails)
