Upon joining, uniforms and accouterments are provided free of charge while you are actively enrolled in 60 Confederation Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (RCACS). Cadets and parents are encouraged to participate in, and contribute to, fundraising on behalf of the Local Sponsoring Committee and Air Cadet League of PEI. These funds are used to promote the squadron and offset costs not covered by the Department of National Defence.<\/p>\n<p>To join, a youth must:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Have reached their 12th birthday; however, have not reached their 19th Birthday<br \/>\n\u00b7 Be able to legally reside in Canada through a Student Visa, Work Visa, Permanent Residency, or Canadian Citizenship.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Be able to supply an original piece of government-issued ID, such as a birth certificate or immigration card, as proof of identity<br \/>\n\u00b7 Be able to supply an original, Prince Edward Island Health Care card.<\/p>\n<p>To enroll your child into 60 Confederation RCACS, please register <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/department-national-defence\/services\/cadets-junior-canadian-rangers\/cadets\/join-us.html\">HERE<\/a>. When prompted, search for &#8217;60 Charlottetown&#8217; as your desired cadet unit.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Once the online registration is completed, please attend the following regular training night. When attending for the first time, please ensure you bring the applicant&#8217;s original birth certificate and Health Care Coverage Card so we can complete the registration process.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What does it cost to join Air Cadets?
