Sound Venture Productions and The Royal Canadian Geographical Society are pleased to announce the world premiere broadcast of Wings of Courage on CPAC TV, the Cable Public Affairs Channel:
Wings of Courage will be broadcast simultaneously in English & French to over 11 million homes and on CPAC’s website at CPAC.ca The documentary will also be available on the CPAC TV 2 GO app.
Wings of Courage looks back at Canada’s early aviator heroism from a personal and modern perspective.
The personal perspective is colorfully captured from compelling stories provided by surviving relatives, or passionate supporters, of popular and lesser-known Canadian FWW pilots. The modern perspective is examined through a group of passionate biplane builders, FWW pilot enthusiasts and Air Cadets who bring the past to the present during the construction and testing of two FWW replica biplanes.
Wings of Courage is the second of three documentaries produced as part of A Nation Soars, a broad commemorative educational initiative on how aviation changed the course of the war and Canada’s heroic involvement. The documentary is narrated in English by actor Dan Aykroyd and in French by explorer Bernard Voyer.
